Will joined Agate Pass with more than a decade of institutional investment experience. After graduation from Dartmouth, he began his career at Credit Suisse Asset Management, allocating and monitoring hedge fund investments, before moving into equity research with Foresight Global Investors. As a CFA charterholder, he brings analytical rigor and a steady, research-driven approach to portfolio management.

How did you find your way to Agate Pass?

Throughout my years in institutional investing, I developed a strong passion for personal finance — part of what inspired me to become a financial advisor. I decided to make the shift to escape the impersonal world of large-scale investing and join a profession where I can see and feel the impact of my work - Agate Pass

What do you love most about your job or the work you do at Agate Pass?

I enjoy connecting with clients and find it incredibly fulfilling to see my work translate into real benefits for them — both financial and emotional.

Listen twice as much as you speak.

Describe your ideal weekend.

Playing a hockey game, having friends over for a meal — sushi or grilled meat — and relaxing with my girlfriend, Ayaka.

What’s one thing still on your bucket list?

A ski vacation in Japan — deep powder during the day and a good meal then hot springs in the evening.
