Jason brings over 16 years of experience in portfolio management and investment strategy. Before coming to Agate Pass, he served as a Director at Baird, overseeing client portfolios and leading investment research initiatives.

He holds an Executive MBA from the University of Washington and is passionate about helping clients align their financial lives with their broader goals.

How did you find your way to Agate Pass?

During COVID, while stuck at home, I decided to get my MBA, which led me to make a change to wealth management from my previous roles in the hedge fund industry and equity research. After a former colleague introduced me to Agate Pass, I knew making the change was the right call.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

Keep it simple!  Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.

Describe your ideal weekend.

Cooking for family and friends, gardening, playing hockey and hanging out with my kids!

What’s one thing still on your bucket list?

I really want to go to Japan.
